2019-6-26 · The University of Minnesota Twin Cities (TC) Recycling Program is nationally recognized for innovation and excellence. Waste on campus is collected in four streams: paper, cans & bottles, organics, and trash. Paper and cans and bottles are brought to the University of Minnesota’s Materials Recovery Facility where the recyclables are hand-sorted and sold to be manufactured into new products.
